Please note that credit card payments for Arianna La Rosa are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland (“TREKKSOFT”). Therefore, TREKKSOFT will appear as THE ITALIAN TOURS on your credit card statement for the payment of this booking. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.

General Conditions

The Italian Tours is a brand of Sensational Italy a fully licensed Tour Operator No 111/2017 based in Italy, and is duly insured for civil liability with Frigo Assicurazioni No 42390168RC14 RC: therefore the tours scheduled in this website are covered by third-party insurance for the risks, the indemnity limits and the guarantees laid down in D.L. 111/95. The programme has been forwarded to the Province of Venice.

The Italian Tours reserves the right to change the price or schedule of their tours at any time, however we always endeavour to provide the services listed, and only under very unusual circumstances would there be any changes.

The Italian Tours is not liable in respect of personal injury, loss or damage of luggage by the client, of death. The company is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay and inconvenience caused by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence by Sensational Italy, such as wars, floods, unusual severe weather, acts of god etc.

The Italian Tours cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by third parties or for reasons beyond its control, and cannot be held responsible for the loss of valuables, luggage or objects during tours. During the periods of greatest attendance, despite reservations, the entry to the museums could be subject to delays, which are not attributable to The Italian Tours responsibility.


Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you arrange travel insurance to cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or those beyond your control. In addition, we recommend a medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and loss of baggage or personal belonging.



Full payment is required when booking.



Our tours are sold in Euro currency and your credit card will be charged in Euro currency.


We endeavour to ensure that all the information and prices on our website are accurate; however occasionally changes and errors occur and we reserve the right to correct prices and other details in such circumstances. You must check the current price and all other details relating to the arrangements that you wish to book before your booking is confirmed.

Excursions Information

The tours in this program are offered in English, Italian, if requested in Spanish, French and German. English language is always guaranteed. Local guiding service in Italian and/or Spanish and/or French and/or German is always guaranteed for a minimum of 4 people. On guided tours including museums, the participants will be supplied with earphones, if there are at least 15 people in the group. No reimbursement is provided should these earphones not be supplied or used due to circumstances beyond the control of The Italian Tours. On audio guided tours in if you lose or do not return the Audioguide, you will be required to pay a penalty fee.

The Italian Tours organises and carries out the excursions featured in this programme, in conformity with the administrative authorization of Venice Provincial Authority. The programme conforms to the text established according to D.L. 111/95, approved by EEC regulation no. 90/314. In the presence of any contrary clause, the contract is governed by the provisions of law no. 1084 dated 27.12.77, in conformity with the ratification and enactment of the International Convention relating to the Travel Contract (C.C.V.).


Our Responsibilities

We have a duty to select the suppliers of the services making up your booking with us with reasonable skill and care. We have no liability to you for the actual provision of the services, except in cases where it is proved that we have breached that duty and damage to you has been caused. Therefore, providing we have selected the suppliers with reasonable care and skill, we will have no liability to you for anything that happens during the service in question or any acts or omissions of the supplier, its employees or agents.

If We Change Or Cancel

It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your arrangements, but occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date.


Special Requests

Any special requests must be advised to us at the time of booking. You should then confirm your requests in writing. Whilst every effort will be made by us to try and arrange your reasonable special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation invoice or any other documentation or that it has been passed on to the supplier is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met.


Disabilities And Medical Problems

We are not a specialist disabled excursion provider, but we will do our utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability, which may affect your chosen arrangements, please provide us with full details before we confirm your booking so that we can try to advise you as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. Acting reasonably, if we are unable to properly accommodate the needs of the person(s) concerned, we will not confirm your booking or if you did not give us full details at the time of booking, we will cancel it and impose applicable cancellation charges when we become aware of these details.


Refunds on unused services

Our Tours are sold as a package and therefore we cannot refund a client for services that he/she has decided not to utilize.


How to cancel a tour and cancellation fees

Cancellations made by clients must be requested in writing to book@theitaliantours.com and the date of cancellation will be calculated based on Italian standard time.

There will be no penalty for cancellations of tour or service communicated in writing to The Italian Tours up to 48 hours before departure time of the tour or service. Less than 48 hours before departure time of tour or service 100% of the total price will be due and no reimbursement will be granted;

No reimbursement will be granted to any client who is not at the place of departure at the time established; similarly, no reimbursement will be granted to clients who lose contact with the guide or who do not complete the tour. Whenever - due to operational difficulties or reasons beyond its control (travel conditions, strikes, changes in opening hours, closure of museums, delays or other problems), The Italian Tours is obliged to change the programme - an alternative itinerary and/or visits to other museums will be proposed, without any variation to the established price and the client will be informed prior to departure.

If for any reason The Italian Tours cancels the tour or service, the client may claim reimbursement only of the sum paid to the Italian Tours. Moreover we are not responsible for additional expenses that may be incurred by a client in relation to a cancelled tour or service (i.e. hotels, flights, etc.).


Museum Tickets

Tickets are not refundable if cancellation is made 30 days or less prior to excursion date.

There is no refund on reservation fees and tickets of monuments that on few occasions are closed due to ceremonies, strikes and any kind of event that is out of our control.  If visits are not possible we will operate the tour and will include other places to compensate closures. No refund is given on unused tickets due to events that are out of our control due to force majeur.



If you wish to change any part of your confirmed arrangements, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. This should be done by the first named person on the booking. Whilst we will do our best to assist, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your requested change.

All change requests sent before receiving vouchers are free of charge, after having sent vouchers, there is a 8,00 Euro change fee for any change.

Please Note: Certain arrangements may not be amended after they have been confirmed and any alteration could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements (details are given in the descriptions of the arrangements in question).


Your Behaviour

All people taking part in our arrangements are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other participants. If in our opinion or in the opinion of any person in authority, your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any of our other guests or any third party or damage to property, or to cause a delay or diversion to transportation, we reserve the right to terminate your arrangements with us immediately. In the event of such termination our liability to you and/or your party will cease and you and/or your party will be required to leave the arrangements immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and/or your party. No refunds for lost services will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses must be paid directly to the supplier prior to the conclusion of the arrangements. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you. We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behaviour of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your arrangements or with us.



All rights reserved by our company. Any reporting or recording (video or audio) of tours and or services must have prior written permission from the management.


Delays on Group Excrusions

Upon confirmation of your service you will receive a voucher with pick up location and time. You will be asked to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour. We cannot guarantee you will find our assistant or guide if you fail to arrive at the meeting point on time .On these occasions we are not responsible for any claim of refund or even partial refund.


Delays on Private Tours / Private shore excursions / Private Transfer Tours

Upon confirmation of your service you will receive a voucher with pick up location and time. If you anticipate or you will be delayed for any reason, it is your responsibility to contact the Number listed in your voucher. We cannot guarantee that a rescheduled pick up time /Day will be possible at no additional charge.


Private Transfers and transfers / tours

When booking a private transfer or a private transfer tour quotations are given including:

1 large size luggage and 1 carry on per person.

Should the number of luggage be exceeding the above number, client must inform at the time of the request


Force Majeure

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we or the supplier(s) of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.

The Italian Tours, brand of Sensational Italy, is not liable and do not authorize any refunds for any events which are caused as a result of acts of God, Governments, war hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil strife, industrial dispute, labour dispute, strike, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, theft, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, technical or administrative problems with transport, closure of airports, breakdown of machinery, adverse weather conditions, water shortages or any other occurrences beyond our immediate control and which, despite all due care being taken, could not have been avoided.

In case of force majeure, The Italian Tours of Sensational Italy reserves the right, but makes no guarantees, to offer substitute services. If no substitute is available, or the substitutes offered are not accepted, we will not authorize any refunds. We strongly recommends to purchase a travel insurance.


Claims & Complaints

We make every effort to ensure that your arrangements run smoothly but if you do have a problem during the performance of your arrangements, please inform your tour guide immediately who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please contact us by emailing or writing to info@theitaliantours.com within and no later than 15 business days after the date of the tour. This will assist us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you.



The contract is governed by Italian law and in case of dispute that we cannot settle amicably, exclusive jurisdiction is conferred on the Italian court. Any disputes will be settled by The Court of Venice.



The Italian Tours, brand of Sensational Italy respects your privacy. The Company process personal data as a Controller as defined by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Accessing this Site constitutes a use of the Site and an acceptance to our Privacy Policy. When you provide information about yourself, you agree that we can use it for our company’s purposes only. In special emergency cases, unless otherwise pronounced by the interested party, the data on the journey may be disclosed to family members who need to track the user.
